Sabudana khichdi

Sabudana khichdi, a popular Indian dish made with peanuts,potatoes and curry leaves. Moreover it's commonly known as sago. As sago is rich in carbohydrates ,so it has the ability to boost energy quickly. It's a good fasting food and well matched with tea.

Sabudana khichdi, a popular Indian dish made with peanuts,potatoes and curry leaves. Moreover it's commonly known as sago. As sago is rich in carbohydrates ,so it has the ability to boost energy quickly. It's a good fasting food and well matched with tea.

In a wide bowl take 1 cup of sabudana and wash them thoroughly and soak them in the bowl. Water should be the ¾ level of the bowl and soak for 4 hours.

In a pan, add 2 tbsp oil. Heat it, add the cumin seeds,when they begin to splutter, add chopped green chilli,ginger, curryleaves,peanuts.
Now add the boiled potatoes. - 3
After adding boiled potatoes, add salt as per taste and 1tbsp red chilli powder. Give a mix and now add the soaked sabudana.

Mix all thoroughly and sqeeze 1 lemon

Now your sabudana khichdi is ready to serve with tea.
