Firstly boil the potatoes up to 4 whistles. Let them cool and then peel off, mash. Keep it in a big bowl.

Now finely chop the onion, carrot green chillies and coriander leaves. Put all this with mashed potatoes. Sprinkle salt, asafoetida, amchur powder, garam masala, turmeric powder and mix thoroughly with your fingers.

Now take 2-3 slices of bread just dip in water for a few seconds and immediately take out squeeze the excess water and add by mash the bread to the potato.mix. Mix well it will give binding.

Now take ball size mix and give the desired shape, round or heart and deep fry on low to.medium flame on both the sides. Serve hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
