Ingredients

  1. 1.5 kgkarely
  2. 1 kgbeef mince
  3. 4-5 medium onions
  4. 2medium tomatoes
  5. 1/1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 1/2 tsphaldi powder
  8. 1 tbspdhania powder
  9. 1 tspred chili powder/ ¾ tsp for raw mince
  10. 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  11. Water as required
  12. 1/3 cupoil + for frying
  13. 3/4 cupyogurt

Cooking Instructions

    Peel the bitter gourd n remove the seeds too. sprinkle enough salt n put in strainer to drain all water.

    After 2 hours drain all the water n squeeze tightly to remove all salty water n rinse two to three times from water n set aside to dry a bit.

    Take beef mince and separate about 250/300 grams from it.in the remaining mince add 3 onions,ginger garlic chopped,salt, red chili powder, garam masala powder and chop finely to make a smooth mixture. add some chopped green coriander in the mixture.

    Take the bitter gourd and fill this mixture in all and sew from one side. shallow fry on medium low flame till color changes

    In a separate pan, heat some oil and add 2 medium sliced onions, saute well and add 1 tbsp ginger garlic chopped fry till turns light brown then add chopped tomatoes and a bit of water. put beef mince previously separated and add salt, dhania powder, haldi, red chili and give a good stir add a cup of water and cook on medium slow flame till mince is done well then saute well till oil appears.

    Now add some more water and yogurt in this mixture and lay fried bitter gourd into it keep the flame low.

    Cook covered for about 10 to 15 minutes until water dries and bitter gourd is tender. serve with roti and lassi and enjoy.
