My go-to steak recipe for the perfect medium ribeye

Bring steaks to room temperature (sitting out of the fridge for at least 30 mins)

Pat steaks dry and coat generously with salt on both sides

Heat cast iron pan or heavy bottomed pan on medium and sear steaks for 2.5 mins per side
- 4
For the last 2 mins of cooking, add butter, garlic, rosemary and baste steaks
- 5
Take steaks off heat and let it rest for at least 10 mins, I usually wait 15 mins
