Aamras is pure mango puree. Aamras is prepared by blending mango pulp in fine paste, some people add little water or sugar or milk, all depends upon your taste. We in Maharashtra eat aamras by adding little sugar and pour 1,2 tsp pure ghee on it before eating. As mangoes can increase body heat , ghee balances it. Aamras is served with chapati, puri or puranpoli.
