Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg.Kundru - (Remove the sides and cut into round slices)
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds -
  • 1 tbsp Peanut
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds /rai-
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder -
  • 1Whole red chilli -
  • 7-8 leavesCurry patta -
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder -
  • 2tsp Oil

Steps

40 min.
  1. 1

    Dry roast sesame seeds and keep aside.

    Grind peanut into coarse powder.

    Heat oil in a pan,add mustard seeds,Curry patta and whole red chilli.Saute,add kundru pieces and fry on a high flame for 2 min.Add salt and turmeric powder and mix.Cover and cook for 6-7 min.on low flame.

    Sprinkle grounded peanut and cook for 5 min.or until kundru becomes soft.Switch off the gas.

    Garnish it with roasted sesame seeds and serve.
