Recipe for Chilean bread known as churrascas. This is a hand-kneaded bread that doesn’t require an oven and is very easy to make.

In a bowl, combine the flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Mix well.

Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Add the warm water and oil. Gradually mix with a fork until the dough comes together.

Knead the dough well for about 5 minutes. Shape it into a ball and let it rest for about 5 minutes.

Cut the dough in half, then cut each half again until you have about 8 pieces.

Roll each piece into a ball, then flatten to form discs. Prick each disc with a fork.

Heat a skillet over medium heat with a little oil. Cook the churrascas for 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
