Today I have made tasty delicious Banarasi khatta meetha kaddu sabji. Puri and kaddu sabji is very popular in Banaras!!!
Steps

First peel the skin of kaddu and cut into medium size pieces. If kaddu is tender, don't peel it's skin off.

Now heat oil in a kadai add panch phoran and let it splutter then add hing,bay leaf, chopped green chillies, dry red chilli, ginger and saute few seconds then add kaddu pieces and mix it well and cover it and cook for 4-5 minutes.

Now open the cover and add turmeric powder,red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, mix it properly well, and add splash of water and cover and again cook on low flame for 8-10 minutes.

When kaddu is fully done then add jaggery, dry mango powder and slightly toss it to melt the jaggery, and mix everything properly, add chopped coriander leaves in the end and cover it for 10-12 seconds to blend all the flavours evenly and It'll make the dish sweet and savoury.
