Vietnamese Beef Wrapped in Betel Leaves (Chả bò lá lốt)

Mix the ground beef with the egg and all the seasonings. Let it marinate for 50 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Wash the betel leaves and pat them dry. Place a leaf on a cutting board, add a spoonful of the beef mixture, and roll it up. Repeat until all the filling is used.

Heat oil in a skillet. When the oil is hot, add the wrapped rolls and fry until evenly cooked. Remove and drain on paper towels, then serve on a plate with hot rice.
