Cherry pie filling
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Pit the cherries and place them in a medium sauce pan with water cover and cook about 10-15mins.until the cherries soften and release the juice.
- 2
Make a cornstarch slurry : add the cornstarch with an additional 1/4cup water to a small bowl and stir with a spoon.
- 3
Then add the sugar into the cherries. Then add the cornstarch slurry. Stir continuously while the mixture thickens, which will happen fast. Finally add the lemon juice if you feel mixture is too sweet.
- 4
Remove the cherries from the heat and place in a bowl or air tight container.keep it to room temperature then chill until ready to use.

We had a lot of Giant Lemons.I recommend using a cooled homemade pie crust. Even when cooled, the pie crust will still be light and crispy.... If eating a meringue as is, you should definitely try an Italian Meringue It would be fun to pipe out the meringue using any shaped tip that you like. Recipe by Shioaji cookpad.japan -

Apple Pie Samosa Apple Pie Samosa
I was making apple pie before, and having some left over of apple pie filling. So, I came up with this idea, instead of making another apple pie, I used spring roll skin to make samosa using the apple pie filling, wrapped it, and deep fried it. I put icing sugar mixed with a pinch of cinnamon for dusting the samosa. 😘😘😘For the apple pie filling I used Laura Vitale recipe. 😘😘😘Here is the link about how to wrap the samosa:https://youtu.be/7qEza-dFMpI Yanny Widjanarko
