These healthy paddus make for an awesome evening snack. It is a perfect way to use up your leftover idly batter too.
Steps

In a mixing bowl, take the batter, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, garam masala, red chili powder and salt, stir to mix.

Take a kitchen tissue, crush to make a small ball, dip a small portion of it in oil and grease the paddu utensil with it. Allow to preheat over medium flame.

Fill each slot with the prepared batter.

Using a pointed spatula turn after a couple of minutes. Allow to cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Serve with coconut chutney. Using kitchen brush instead of tissue will take more oil.
