I was so lucky that a fisherman gave me a couple of spider crabs alive during a costal walk. Crabs easily go bad so I steamed it on the day I had it.

I was so lucky that a fisherman gave me a couple of spider crabs alive during a costal walk. Crabs easily go bad so I steamed it on the day I had it.

A spider crab alive. Put it with loads of ice in a cooler bag and brought home.

Wash the crab lightly.

When the water boils, turn down the heat. Be careful not to boil over.

Cover it with cling film and put them in a fridge. Or you could freeze it.

Crack them and eat the meats. No sauce needed. Taste of the sea.
