Assemble all ingredients. Slice tomatoes and cucumber. Remove the sides of the slices. (If you prefer to keep sides do so or remove)

Apply butter on both sides of the bread slices. Sprinkle salt on black pepper then arrange cucumber slice and tomato slice. Press another piece over veggies and cut them diagonally.

Sprinkle grated cheese all over slices and serve.
Serve the sandwich with chutney dip ketchup.
