Dice onions in a sufuria and cook till golden brown

Add diced meat and cook till ready. Then add ginger and garlic

Its time to add our spices and cook a little.

Add water to the sufuria and bring to boil. If you are cooking 2 cups of rice, you add 4 cups of water.

Add the rice and cover for it to boil and cook. When the water gets to the same level as the rice, its time to put very small fire and allow it to simmer till all water is dried out.

The rice is ready to serve. You can have with veggies, with salad or kachumbari, soup or even plain. enjoy
