Ingredients

2 servings
  • 2 cupsthick poha (flatten rice)
  • 1/4chopped onions
  • 1/4chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cupgrated fresh coconut
  • 1/8 cupground nuts
  • 4chopped green chillies
  • 1 tspjeera
  • 1 tspmustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsphing
  • 1 tspturmeric powder
  • leavesFew curry
  • leavesSome chopped coriander
  • 2 tsplemon juice
  • 2 tspsugar
  • As Per Taste Salt
  • 2 tspoil
  • 3 tspwater

Steps

5 minutes, prep. time 5 minutes

    In a bowl, put poha, add 3 tsp water, and mix lightly, don't add more water, just moist poha.

    Now add chopped onions, tomatoes, grated fresh coconut, salt, sugar, lemon juice, and coriander, and combine well with your hand, so water releases and poha turns moister.

    In a pan add oil, and fry peanuts. Transfer in poha bowl. In the same pan with the left oil, add rai, jeera, green chilies, curry patta, and turmeric powder, and saute it. Transfer on poha.

    Now combine with hand, so all masala will mix evenly. Maharashtrian Dadpe Pohe is ready..

At the age of 18, I got married to a huge joint family and started my new journey. My family loves my dishes and appreciates me. Especially my husband and my son. So, day by day, I improved myself, and today, cooking is my hobby, my passion. My husband, Mr. Kamal Sampat always supports and motivates me.
