Ingredients

15–20 min prep + 15 min cooking
Serves 4 or more
  • 14 ozspaghetti (400 g)
  • 2 1/4 lbsclams (1000 g)
  • 1 cupcherry tomatoes (about 250 g)
  • 2 clovesgarlic
  • 2/3 cupdry white wine (150 ml)
  • as neededOlive oil,
  • Salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes, to taste
  • as neededFinely chopped parsley,

Steps

15–20 min prep + 15 min cooking
  1. 1

    Rinse the clams thoroughly. Heat plenty of olive oil in a deep skillet, add the clams and garlic to infuse the oil, then remove and finely chop the garlic. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring often.

    Add the chopped garlic and cherry tomatoes. Pour in the white wine and bring to a boil. Add salt only if needed. Chop the parsley and mix it in with some black pepper. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and strain any liquid left at the bottom. Adjust with olive oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes to taste. Toss everything together and let the flavors combine.
