On the auspicious eve of raksha bandhan & narali purnima ..I made coconut karangi. It is traditional receipe made with fresh coconut.
Steps

For filling first in a kadhai take coconut add sugarmix it & put on flame..cook it until the mixture becomes slight thick. Add kesar for colour & flavour. Lastly add cardamom powder

Your filling is ready. For covering take maida, rava mix it. Then take dalda ghee in kadhai & pur it on gas. When ghee becomes slight hot put it on rava maida mixture.

Mix it properly. Then knead a semi soft dough of it & keep aside for 30 min. While making karanji first make the dough soft witb hand & make small balls of it.

For making gujiya or karanji roll a dough like puri shape, fill coconut mixture in it. And seal it from the edges.

Deep fry all karanji till slight brown. Coconut karanji is ready to serve for raksha bandhan
