3 ingredient magic. Simple innovative twist to a lovely Middle Eastern spice called Za'atar or Thyme. I have used it on simple everyday Rotis that are made in every Indian home. This is therefore an excellent option for Breakfast or Brunch as well.
Simple and easy to do. This spice blend is readily available in many hypermarkets and also online on Amazon India too.
You can directly add it to the dough as well. That would be great too.
It's absolutely tempting and tastes awesome with Cheese, Malai, or Fresh Cream, and also Paneer or Cottage Cheese. And also good on its own too. Just roll it and enjoy. I have already shared other variations before. You can have a look at them as well.
It has a unique flavour to it. You will love it for sure. Indulge in this simple yet flavourful Bread on any given day. You will definitely want more.

Steps
- 1
Make Rotis as usual. Apply a teaspoon or more of Ghee on each. Sprinkle a generous amount of Za'atar on them as desired. Do not cook. Just spread the Za'atar nicely and it's all done.
- 2
Serve immediately. Enjoy your lovely meal with some Cheese or Curd or Labneh. And a lot of Salad alongside. Yum!
