Steps
- 1
First of all take methi leaves in a bowl and add green chilies, salt, and curd to it. Mix everything well. Now add besan to it and give it a good mix. You can add water as required to make a semi-soft batter. I needed four tbsp of water as the methi leaves were still wet. Add baking soda and give it a good mix.
- 2
Heat oil in a frying pan at medium heat. When the oil is hot, add hot oil to the batter and mix it well. Now add little dollops of batter into the oil with your hand or a spoon. Let it fry on medium heat. keep on turning it while frying. Do not make it golden brown.
- 3
Fry all methi na gota in the same way.
- 4
Serve methi na gota along with onion, fried green chilies, and hot cup of tea or coffee.
