I really like roasted asparagus, but today I wanted something different. I decided to steam them and create a little sauce to go with them. I saw many recipes that use roasted garlic to achieve a creamy preparation, so I got to work to try it. I was very surprised by the result. Cooking Instructions

Remove the tough ends of the asparagus. Place them in the steamer with lemon slices on top for about 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, roast the unpeeled garlic cloves in the air fryer or oven until they are very soft. Remember to prick them before cooking to prevent them from exploding. This will take about the same time as the asparagus.

Squeeze the garlic cloves and process them with the lemon juice and lemon zest. Add salt to taste. Check the consistency and you can add a little water if you prefer it more liquid.

Serve the asparagus with the sauce on top.
