Sangria with Pear and Peach

This time, I'm sharing a different kind of dessert—sangria you can eat with a spoon! Plus, it's a great way to use up pears from my pear tree.

Steps
- 1
Serve in a bowl or glass with a sugared rim.
- 2
To make the sugared rim, place sugar on one plate and a shot of mint liqueur on another plate.
- 3
Dip each glass into the mint liqueur, then into the sugar to coat the rim with green sugar.
- 4
Wash and chop the peaches and pears into bite-sized pieces suitable for a dessert spoon. I chose not to peel the fruit.
- 5
Place all the fruit pieces in a pitcher, add two tablespoons of sugar, the vodka, and the wine.
- 6
Let it chill in the refrigerator for several hours so the flavors blend well.
- 7
Serve in bowls using a ladle.
- 8
Enjoy the sangria very cold.
