We make these burgers, packed with lots of broccoli, all the time. They have an amazing texture and flavor! You can watch the video on how to make them here: https://youtu.be/di9sAYOMa38
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cut the broccoli into florets and wash them well.
- 2
Cook it for about 7 minutes at full power in the microwave in a steam-safe container, or boil it in a small pot with water until tender.
- 3
Drain the broccoli and chop it very finely, either with a knife or in a food processor.
- 4
Place it in a large bowl and add the salt, onion powder, flour, and the 2 eggs. Mix everything with a spatula.
- 5
Once well combined, add the shredded cheese and mix again.
- 6
Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 356°F (180°C).
- 7
To prevent sticking and for easy removal, place parchment paper at the bottom of the air fryer basket (leave the lower tray in place). Add spoonfuls of the broccoli mixture to form the burgers, flatten them a bit; it's okay if they are irregular in shape. Spray a little cooking oil on top.
- 8
Cook in the air fryer at 356°F (180°C) for 15 minutes.
- 9
Flip them halfway through the cooking time.
- 10
Your broccoli burgers are ready!

Yummy recipe made with things I had leftover from other dishes. I had mine lower carb and nixed the bun, but hubby and daughter ate them with the bun and they both liked it. Even the little one liked it, who originally said “Ewww turkey burgers!” Of course if you don’t have an air fryer, use the oven as a substitute. Shari -

Vegan Bean Burgers Vegan Bean Burgers
I have been making these delicious vegan burgers for years. If you want them to be firmer and hold their shape more, just add a beaten egg to the mixture plus an additional 1/3 cup of oats; they won’t be vegan, though, but they will still be delicious.#vegetarian #cilantro #mushroom #oats #chili #sandwich #patty #plantbased Ricardo -

Vegetarian Tofu and Burdock Root Burgers Vegetarian Tofu and Burdock Root Burgers
Since my husband was putting on weight, I created this dish to serve him a healthy and tasty dish. The key is to slowly cook the burgers through on low heat. That will make them firm and less likely to break apart. Mayonnaise is optional, but I recommend a small amount for taste. Don't add too much or they will become greasy tasting. This is a grain veggie burger.Cool the sorghum grain to the touch before mixing with the other ingredients. Cooling it too much will make it harder to mix.I recommend not mashing the potato too smoothly, but allowing it to be lumpy enough to keep some texture. If you don't have white rice flour, use katakuriko, kudzu, or any other thickening agent Recipe by Ruruko cookpad.japan -
