It's been a long time since I made a cake. Today, I tried a trendy cake recipe that I've been wanting to try for a while. The recipe on TikTok seemed a bit off 😅. The first time I made it, it seemed too simple, and the mixture was a bit runny. I wasn't sure if it needed more cornstarch, so I added a bit more based on intuition, as the TikTok video only used one tablespoon of cornstarch, which didn't seem right 😅😂.

Crack the eggs into a bowl. Beat well. Then add the yogurt and sugar, and stir until dissolved.

Next, sift in the cornstarch, mix well, and strain the mixture again to ensure it's smooth and free of lumps. (If it's too runny, you can add more cornstarch until it's slightly thick, but not too thick.)

Pour the mixture into the molds, and remember to spray a thin layer of oil to prevent sticking. I made 3 molds like this. You can add raisins, almonds, or blueberries on top. Place in an air fryer at 300°F for 30 minutes.

The cake will puff up like a soufflé but will deflate after a while. The result is soft and smooth, and my child ate one whole. I made it less sweet for my child, but if you prefer it sweeter, you can add more sugar. It's even better when chilled. Good luck!
