Ingredients

  • For Wrapper
  • 2 tbspwheat flour
  • 1 tbspoats flour
  • 1/2 tbsprice flour
  • As Per TasteSalt
  • As RequiredWater
  • 1/2 tspoil
  • For stuffing
  • 1/2 tsp oil
  • 5-7finely chopped garlic cloves
  • 1/2 tspginger and green chilli paste
  • 1 tbspfinely chopped onion
  • 2 tbspfinely chopped cabbage
  • 1 tbspfinely chopped carrots
  • As Per TasteSalt
  • Pinchwhite pepper powder
  • 1/2 tspsoya sauce
  • 1/2 tspred chilli sauce
  • 1/2 tspgreen chilli sauce
  • 2-3 dropsvinegar (optional)
  • 2 tbspcorn flour

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil in a wok and saute garlic. Add ginger and green chili paste.

  2. 2

    Add onion, cabbage, and carrots one by one and saute it.

  3. 3

    Add all sauces, salt, vinegar, and pepper powder. Add corn flour and mix it.

  4. 4

    Transfer to a plate and let it cool.

  5. 5

    Take all flour in a mixing bowl and add salt. Add little by little water and knead soft dough. Apply oil and keep aside for some time.

  6. 6

    Now take a small portion from it and flatten out it. Keep a small amount of stuffing and give your favourite shape and seal it.

  7. 7

    Boil water in a steamer and apply some oil to the dish. Put momos on it. Let it steam for 7 to 8 minutes on low to medium flame.

  8. 8

    A healthy version of Dimsum or momos is ready to serve. Enjoy it with chutney.

  9. 9

    Please note that maida has the maximum amount of gluten. So you can give shape easily. But wheat has less amount of gluten than a made. Oats and rice are almost gluten-free. So while giving shape it will crack or you can't give proper shape. But don't worry try to give it a simple shape.
