A very nutritious and tasty snack which can be made in short time.

Ingredients

30 minutes
3 to 4 persons
  1. 2 cupscabbage, finely chopped
  2. 1/2 cupOnion, finely chopped
  3. 1 cupChick peas flour
  4. 1/2 cupPearl millet flour
  5. 1/2 cupsorghum flour
  6. 2 tbspCilantro finely chopped
  7. 1/2 teaspoonseach of Red chilli powder salt, coriander powder, cumin powder
  8. 1/4 tspTurmeric powder
  9. 2 pinchasafoetida
  10. 2green chillies, finely chopped
  11. 1 tbspsesame seeds
  12. Oil for shallow frying
  13. Water as required

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes

    Mix cabbage, onions, cilantro, chopped green chillies and all spices.

    Mix them with flours and sesame seeds and 2tsp oil.

    Make soft dough using little water

  4. 4

    Keep dough covered for five minutes.

  5. 5

    Make little Round shape fritters by applying some oil on palms.

  6. 6

    Shallow fry, on medium flame, these fritters with little oil on both the sides till fritters become crispy.

  7. 7

    Yummy snacks are ready to eat.

    Serve them with green cilantro or mint chutney and tomato ketchup.
