Mix together gram flour and all the spices and make a smooth, lump free batter by gradually adding water.

Heat oil in a pan.

Put spoonful of batter and fry till light golden.

Soak the phulki in water till tender.

Whisk together yoghurt, salt and sugar.

Drain the water from phulki.

Mix together phulki and yoghurt.

Serve chilled.
