Wash amla with water and dry it. Steam the amla in steamer until it becomes soft.

Poke the amla with fork all side.

Now take a pan and add sugar, water and amla. Stir it with spatula constantly until amla becomes golden and chasani get thickness. (Make one tar chasani)

Cool it and serve it.
