
Cinnamon bun Apple pie

Peel, core and slice your 5 apples. Place in a bowl and add sugar, cinnamon and cornstarch. Toss until apples are well coated.

Take one tin of cinnamon bun, and roll out on floured surface until nice and thin. Repeat for all five buns, and line your greased pie plate overlapping to cover completely. Pour Apple mixture in, and repeat rolling flat the second tin of cinnamon buns and place on top of apples to create top of pie shell.

Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Top with icing/glaze and serve.

Note: I have made this once, and next time I would add another tablespoon of cornstarch to thicken the juice at the bottom of the plate, and cook it another 10 minutes. Apples were not quite cooked......although it was delicious! Will definitely make it again.
