First, peel and wash the carrots.

Grate the carrots.

In a heavy-bottomed pan, add the grated carrots and milk. Cook over medium heat.

When the milk starts to evaporate, add the sweetened condensed milk and sugar. Mix well.

Lower the heat and add ghee.

Continue stirring and cook until the mixture dries up. Add kewra water and mix.

Add the chopped nuts and cardamom powder. Mix well and transfer to another dish.

Serve the hot Gajar ka Halwa in bowls.

This dessert is very tasty and stays good for four to five days. You can reheat and enjoy it anytime.
