  • 4 tablespoonssesame seed oil
  • 1tspMustard SEEDS
  • 1tspCumin seeds
  • 1/2tspFenugreek seeds
  • 1/2tspAsafetida
  • 1/2cupcurry leaves
  • 10cloves
  • 2star anise
  • 1 inchcinnamon
  • 1Bay leaf
  • 10cardamom
  • 6 cupsspinach
  • 1table spoonGinger finely chopped
  • 4 Clovegarlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4tspturmeric powder
  • 4green chilis,
  • 1 table spoongaram masala
  • 1 cupred onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cupsmall paneer pieces
  • requiredSalt

    Soak the rice in 2 cups of water for 20 minutes in a bowl. to drain Then add 3 cups of water along with the rice in the rice cooker. Also stir in the butter. Add salt. Turn on the cooker lid. After the rice is cooked, the cooker will automatically turn off..

    While the rice is cooking, do the rest of the work

    Blanch spinach: Boil water in a saucepan. Add spinach to boiling water, let it soak in boiling water for 3 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon, immerse it in icy water to stop the cooking. Drain and keep aside. This will keep spinach green.
    Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan on medium flame - 2 min.. Add mustard seeds, after spluttering cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, fenugreek powder, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, chilies. Fry the star anise. Add ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder.

    Add tomatoes and sauté for 4 minutes. cook until soft. Add spice powder.

    Add spinach and saute. Add salt after everything is sauteed. The amount of COOKED spinach is reduced. Do not overcook. Spinach should retain its color. Turn of the heat. -Transfer COOKED spinach to a bowl

    Caramelize onion: Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a saucepan over high flame, add onion and some salt and keep stirring. The onions will turn brown and aromatic.. This is caramelized onion.

    Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a saucepan over medium heat to fry the paneer pieces. After browning a bit, turn off the stove. Remove the fried paneer and Set aside

    Add spinach to rice bowl and mix. Caramelized onions on top, fried paneer pieces on top of it, Pilaf has a beautiful color, with healthy nutrients. Aromatic flavorful delicious pulav is ready. Let it rest for 15 minutes for all the aromas and flavors to come together.
    Taste and serve.
