Soak the rice for half an hour.

In heavy bottom kadai boil milk.

Once the milk is boiled, add washed rice into the milk, and mix well. Keep stirring on a low flame.

When milk thickens add jaggery to it. First, cut the jaggery into small pieces. Then add it.

After that add cardamom powder and dry fruits. Mix well. Off gas immediately.

Finally, enjoy hot or cold jaggery kheer garnishing with chopped dry fruits.
