Wash methi leaves properly and cut them. Boil potatoes and cut them in cubes.

Now take one heavy bottom kadai and heat mustard oil. Add garlic, jeera and turmeric powder sauté for 1 minute then add potatoes and cook them together again for couple of minutes.

After that add cut mehti and all remaining ingredients and cook until it becomes little tender. After 4-5 minutes your methi aloo is ready. Enjoy it with paratha or roti. You can have this with dal chawal also.

Tip-
Always cook methi in a open kadai. If you cover it then it becomes little bitter. Cooking methi in a open pan reduces it’s bitterness.
You can knead this with wheat flour and enjoy very tasty methi paratha.
