First, mash the khoya until smooth. Then add the all-purpose flour, semolina, and baking powder, and knead until smooth. Shape the mixture into small, oval balls.

For the syrup, combine the sugar and water in a pan and cook until it becomes slightly sticky. Add the cardamom pods.

Heat oil in a pan over low heat and fry the balls until golden brown. After frying, place them in the sugar syrup. Gulab Jamun is ready.

Serve warm or cold. Gulab Jamun is very easy to make—be sure to try it!
