So easy to make and taste so much better than store bought frozen garlic bread.
Steps
- 1
Cut your baguette in half at the middle to give you two shorter roll pieces. Slice each half open all along the sides to make 4 pieces.
- 2
Melt your butter in the microwave for 30 seconds. Peel and crush your garlic cloves. Add them to your butter. Spoon the garlic butter mixture all over the bread and brush to spread it all over. Tip- melting the butter instead of just using soft butter allows you to get an even spread into every little hole.
- 3
Once the bread is completely covered, sprinkle over sea salt and add chives if using.
Tip- You could at this stage freeze half the garlic bread to use as and when you need it. Just wrap it in some clingfilm and freeze. No need to defrost, just pop the frozen loaf into a hot oven and bake as below.
- 4
Bake in an oven at 180c for 20 minutes for crispy and yummy garlic bread
