Ingredients

  1. 2carrots
  2. 2small onions
  3. 4green chillies
  4. 1potato
  5. 1 teaspoonginger garlic paste
  6. 1 teaspooncoriander powder
  7. 1/2 teaspooncumin powder
  8. 3/4th teaspoon garam masala
  9. Salt as per taste
  10. Small bunch of coriander
  11. 2 glasseswater
  12. 1 glassrice
  13. 1/2 teaspooncurry leaf powder(optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Saute onions and green chilli with a tablespoon oil

    Then add carrots, potato pieces and green peas, saute for a minute in medium flame

  3. 3

    Then add salt, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala according to the measurements mentioned above

    Saute them in medium flame for 5mins, and add 2 glasses-of water, check salt now.

    Then finally add the washed rice and finally add some freshly chopped coriander.

    I added half teaspoon curry leaf powder at the end(totally optional)i prefer it in almost all the dishes.

    Close the cooker lid and make it 3 whistles.

    And the veg pulao is ready, will taste good vth some gravy curry and raita.
