Consommé Potato Sticks

Since I like sweet things myself, I tend to make sweet snacks all the time. I wanted to make the kind of savory consommé soup flavored snacks that are popular with kids, so I thought up this recipe.
The size of the dough in Step 5 is about 10 cm x 20 cm. but as long as it's about 5 mm thick, you can change the shape and size to fit your baking sheet.
Please adjust the baking time depending on your oven. For about 20 10 cm [3.9 in] long sticks. Recipe by caramel-cookie

Steps
- 1
Boil or microwave the potato (about 3 minutes at 500 to 600w). Peel while it's still hot and mash.
- 2
Add the vegetable oil and mix well.
- 3
Add the granulated sugar and consommé soup stock, and mix well.
- 4
Combine the cake flour and baking powder, and sift into the bowl from Step 3. Mix well and press together into a ball using a spatula.
- 5
Lay a sheet of kitchen parchment paper on a flat surface. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough out on top of the paper into a rectangle that is about 5 mm thick. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- 6
Cut into about 1 cm wide sticks. Make a little space in between each stick, and put the whole sheet of paper on a baking tray.
- 7
Bake in a 180°C oven for about 15 minutes. Lower the temperature to 150°C and bake to dry the sticks out for about 10 minutes. Take the baked sticks out and cool on a rack.
- 8
Even if you don't bake until crisp in the oven, they crisp when cooled. If you are going to eat them right away, I recommend taking them out a bit earlier.
