Steps
- 1
Heat a pan and melt the beef fat. Cut the green onion into chunks.
- 2
Put the beef in the hot pan all at once, and break it up with chopsticks. Toss in the green onions and continue frying until well browned.
- 3
Add the same amount of sugar and soy sauce, and mix well to coat the meat. That's it! It's ready to serve in no time.
- 4
I tried adding boiled taro potatoes to the same mixture, and it was good, too! For cheaper beef, use fattier cuts.
- 5
This time, I made it with a different kind of onion, and lots of shirataki noodles. Adding shimeji mushrooms makes it healthy.
- 6
This is the chicken skin-green onion version. It was a great combination! The chicken fat makes it yummy!
