Take both soaked daals in a pressure cooker, add water, chopped potadtoes, papaya, tomatoes, turmeric, salt. Bring to boil for one whistle. Cook naturally.

Heat oil. Add cumin seeds and whole garam masala. Stir on low flame. Add chopped onion and fry till rawness goes well.

Next add ginger garlic paste, boiled tomatoes, masala powders as mentioned above and kashmiri red chilli powder.

Cook the masala on low flame till oil separates. Now mix the boiled veggies and allow to boil with masala lest it's aromatic. Papaya Daal Masala is ready to serve.
