Clean and wash the Daal. Soak daal Channa for 2 hours. Take a wok water, turmeric powder

Add all spices, oil, water and cook for 15 minutes in pressure cooker or until the Daal is soft. Daal Chaana must be fully cooked but not turn mushy. It must be grainy.

Take a karahi add oil, onion paste, ginger garlic paste and stir fry till light golden brown colour.

Then add all dry spices, chopped tomato, 1/2 cup of water and cook for 5 to 7 minutes till tomatoes are soft.

Then add yogurt and bhonify together.

Then add chicken powder, kasuri methi by rubbing in hand and mix well. water is dried and oil separates.

Next transfer the cooked Daal along with the 1/2 cup stock mix gently. Squeeze lemon juice

Then add green chilli, green coriander leaves and desi ghee

Sprinkle the Garam Masala powder and dum for 1 minute.

Serve Daal Chaana with roti or rice.
