Ingredients

  1. 2 cupssour milk
  2. 3/4 cupmolasses
  3. 11/2 cupsgraham flour
  4. 1 cupcornmeal
  5. 1 cupwholes wheat flour
  6. 4 teaspoonsbutter or lard
  7. 1 teaspoonsoda
  8. 1 teaspoonsalt
  9. 2 teaspoonbaking powder
  10. 1 cupchopped raisins

Cooking Instructions

    Mix and sift together dry ingredients. Add molasses and milk.

    Blend entire mixture

  3. 3

    Fill well greased tins two-thirds full I use soup cans

  4. 4

    Cover tightly place mold on trivet in kettle containing boiling water.

  5. 5

    Keep water boiling steam for 3 hours

  6. 6

    Bake 15 min at 350 to dry.
