Ingredients

  1. 1 cupcornmeal
  2. 1 cupsifted rye flour
  3. 1/2 teaspoonsoda
  4. 1 teaspoonsalt
  5. 1 cupgraham flour
  6. 3/4 cupmolasses
  7. 13/4 cupsmilk
  8. 4 teaspoonsbaking powder

Cooking Instructions

    Sift dry ingredients together, stir in molasses and milk.

    Blend well

  3. 3

    Fill well-greased molds two-thirds full, place greased covers on mold and steam about 3 hours.

  4. 4

    Remove cover, bake 15 minutes in 350 degree f. Oven to dry.

  5. 5

    Will make 3 loaves.
