This spectactular starter truely makes a special occation and it does not have to cost much if you use Padlefish Eggs (which works really well) You can halve the Qttys and use a smaller dish for 2 :)

This spectactular starter truely makes a special occation and it does not have to cost much if you use Padlefish Eggs (which works really well) You can halve the Qttys and use a smaller dish for 2 :)
Steps

Lightly Spray the inside of a 6" dish or ring. the add tsps of cavair and gently spread evenely on the base. You can Add a small cut dish of Grease proof paper to help as well (optional)

Spoon over the chopped red onion and lightly spreed over - try not to mix any of the layers.

Chop the hard boiled egg Whites and mix with the mayo, salt and pepper. Then spoon over / spread again

Chop the Egg Yokes and spinkle over

Mix the Cream cheese, sour cream and chives together, spoon over and spread. I now run my thumb around the edge to make nice and clean.

Put in Freezer for 10 mins and then transfer to frdige for at least 2 hours not longer than 4 (cover with cling film)

Romove from Frdge 10 mins before serving, place a plate ontop and invert and turn out so the caviar is on the top. You may need to run a small knife around the edge to release it.

Serve with Water Biscuit or Ritz crackers or thin crushy bread - WATCH YOUR GUESTs Faces as you serve and eat :)
