Ingredients

Overnight marinade, 30 minute roast
2 people
  1. Small whole pork tenderloin, outer fleece removed, called silverskin
  2. 2 Tbsketchup
  3. 2 Tbspaprika powder
  4. Tbsdark thick sweet soy sauce
  5. Tbslight soysauce
  6. Tbshoney
  7. Tspginger
  8. Tsponion powder
  9. Clovegarlic
  10. Halfbottle of Rice wine or cooking wine to cover the meat
  11. Serve over turmeric cooked rice
    California Farm Foolproof Cooked Rice
  12. Equipment: glass baking dish, small cast iron sauce pan
  13. Cost: meat $3, other $1, per person $1

Steps

Overnight marinade, 30 minute roast
  1. 1

    Place whole tenderloin in glass baking dish after removing the silverskin. Add marinade ingredients. Cover with cooking wine. Rest 8 hours. Preheat oven to 375F degrees, bake 30 minutes. Lift meat on cutting board, rest 10 minutes.

    While meat is resting, pour leftover marinade and roasting juices in cast iron sauce pan, boil till thick over high heat, stirring, about 10 minutes. Brush over meat, slice 1/4” thick, serve over turmeric rice. Save 8 slices to make Wor Wonton Soup. Enjoy
