In a pan add oil, mustard seeds, asofedita, chopped green chillies and raw banana

Add spice and water and cook on low flame until bananas are half cooked. Add chana dal (soaked in hot water) and cook on low flame covered for 15 mts

Check id dal and bananas are cooked. Add jaggery powder and mix well. Add lemon juice and put off the flame. Raw banana is rich in iron, adding lemon juice that is vitamin C allows iron absorption faster. Servve with parathas and rice.
