Steps
- 1
Add all the ingredients to a mixing bowl at first except the last. Now slowly add water as required to make a smooth yet a thick batter. It should not be watery. Set it aside for about 20 minutes.
- 2
Meanwhile heat up enough oil in a kadai on a low. Dip each one of the sliced mushroom in the batter and drop it in hot oil very carefully either with hands or with the help of a spoon. Fry until golden brown and crisp.
- 3
Do them in batches of 2 or 3 or even more as needed. Flip onto the other side and fry until done on the other side too. Do it with a little patience. Do not hurry about it. Fry on a low to medium-high heat so that they get cooked to perfection even from the inside.
- 4
Serve them piping hot with a lovely dip or a chutney of your choice. Enjoy!
P.S Though they taste great on their own too. Yum!
