The light soy sauce will darken the soup, but it is not so salty, so don't worry. You may not need to add any salt. Recipe by Mikabon888

Ingredients

  • 800 mlDashi stock
  • 2 tbspSake
  • 2 tbspMirin
  • 50 mlUsukuchi soy sauce
  • 1 dashSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the dashi stock. You can use store-bought Japanese dashi stock granules.

  2. 2

    Pour 4 cups of dashi stock in a pot, add the other ingredients in the order listed.

  3. 3

    Bring it to a boil, put your own choice of ingredients and just enjoy . You definitely need chicken meatballs.
