My mother would make this casserole on Thanksgiving morning. I'm pretty sure she got it out of a cookbook but not sure which one.

Ingredients

30-45 minutes
8-10 servings
  1. 1 poundbreakfast sausage
  2. 1 packagewhite sausage gravy mix
  3. 6eggs
  4. 1/2 cupheavy cream
  5. 8-ounce can of fridge biscuits
  6. 1-2 cupsshredded cheddar cheese (depending on how you like)

Cooking Instructions

30-45 minutes

    Cook up your sausage leaving some drippings in the pan. Prepare the gravy as per label instructions but add some of the drippings.

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray the casserole dish with nonstick spray. Cut up the biscuits into bite-sized chunks and lay in the casserole dish.

    Take the cooked sausage and sprinkle on top. Take half of the cheese and sprinkle over.

    Whisk the eggs, and milk and add seasonings to your liking pour over the top of the casserole. Then take the gravy and pour it over and then add the rest of the cheese. Bake 35-40 minutes.
