I was still reluctant to cook a week after the Tohoku Earthquake. I spent those days cooking dishes that were easy and quick. So, I decided to choose and post some of those dishes that I felt would be worth making again (and were easy and tasty).

-You can eat imitation crab as it is, but if you heat them up, they become really rich in aroma and umami. The key is to microwave for 1 minute for the best results.
-The sauce itself is strong because the whole point is eating it with lots of cabbage,

Ingredients

3 servings
  • 2to 3 leaves Cabbage
  • 4 stick◎Imitation crab sticks
  • 1◎Japanese leek
  • 1/2 tsp◎Weipa
  • 1 tsp◎Sake
  • 1 tspMiso
  • 1 tbspMayonnaise

Steps

  1. 1

    Slice the leek into thin rounds. Chop the imitation crab into half and loosen. Combine all ◎ ingredients and microwave for 1 minute. Combine with the miso and set aside to cool down. Mix in the mayonnaise.

    Shred the cabbage and dish it up. Pour the mixed ingredients from Step 1 over it, and serve.

  3. 3

    If you like sansho pepper, enjoy with about 2 shakes.
