American Chop Suey Boston 1940s edition

My grandmother learned how to make this in home economics class in the 1940's. She said it was called an American Chop Suey because you could put into it whatever vegetables you had on hand. This is the basic recipe that she learned. I've made it with added carrots, mushrooms, celery, zucchini you name it. Very filling and affordable. Outside of New England, it's sometimes called a Goulash. #GoldenApron23 Ground Beef
