This is an exotic recipe combining hot flavours of burnt dry red chillies and tangy tomato.
Steps

Roast the dry red chillies on flame keeping all windows wide open till the choking flavour releases. Marinate the fishes with salt and turmeric powder

Plunge the roasted chillies in a cup of warm water and soak for 10 minutes allowing to cool
- 3
Make a blend in a mixer.Strain the red chilli and collect the liquid discarding the residue.

Now add mustard oil in pan and once hot add the fishes one by one and shallow fry. Add the tomato purée and simmer

Add the red chilli paste as collected and adjust salt to taste.Add turmeric powder and kashmiri red chilli powder and simmer till the gravy thickens and oil releases

Turn the fishes gently and once done switch off the flame.
